JUNKPDX SERVICE COMPARISON

Household junk or construction debris: describe the materials.

A truck-space estimate starts with what is in the pile. Furniture and loose household clutter load differently from dense debris. Tell JunkPDX the materials and the access before the visit.

Describe the pile by material

List the main items and what the loose material is. Furniture, bags of household clutter and renovation debris are different descriptions of a job. A photo can show a pile’s shape without explaining what is inside the bags. Say what you know, including any mix of materials. That gives the company a clearer starting point for reviewing equipment, handling and the complete estimate.

Space is the starting point for ordinary household pickups

JunkPDX prices ordinary household pickups primarily around the truck space the items take. Dense debris and unusually heavy objects can change the work and disposal requirements. That does not make all household pricing a weight calculation. It means the company needs an accurate description before confirming the total quote. Ask the crew to review the full pile and any applicable charges before approving removal.

Identify heavy or dense items separately

Point out unusually heavy furniture, equipment or debris rather than burying those details in a general clutter description. Tell the company where the items are and how the crew reaches them. Stairs and difficult access can matter alongside the material. You do not need to carry heavy pieces outside to request an estimate. Let the crew assess the actual location and discuss the work included.

Keep uncertain materials visible in the description

If you cannot identify a container’s contents or do not know whether a material is accepted, ask the company before the visit. Do not mix unidentified material into bags of ordinary junk. A description of an appliance or other unusual item is more useful than assuming everything in the garage is handled the same way. Acceptance and handling should be confirmed for the actual job, rather than inferred from a broad service name.

Approve a quote for the complete pickup

During the free, no-obligation estimate, show the crew all the materials and access. Review what is included and the confirmed price before work starts. If items were added since the photos, explain the change before approval. Same-visit haul-away can follow approval, subject to the job and availability. Current service details come from JunkPDX’s company website, and the on-site quote applies to the pickup you agree on.
