Airport and brand FAQs

What is an airport code?

The three-letter IATA code identifies an airport in airline reservations and on baggage tags. A four-letter ICAO identifier is used in aviation operations. PDX and KPDX, for example, identify Portland International Airport in Oregon.

Why is this called JunkAirportCodes?

We combine JUNK with an airport code to name a regional Junk brand. PDX connects to JunkPDX, SEA to JunkSEA and BOI to JunkBOI. This directory explains the codes associated with our three local brands: JunkPDX in Portland, JunkSEA in Seattle and JunkBOI in Boise.

Does every listed code have junk-removal booking?

No. JunkPDX booking is open, subject to address coverage and availability. JunkSEA and JunkBOI customer booking is not open yet. An airport reference does not establish service coverage.

What does each local brand do?

JunkPDX handles local junk removal and cleanouts with its own crew in Portland metro and Vancouver, Washington. JunkSEA is the Seattle-area network brand developing local provider coverage. JunkBOI is the Boise-area network brand in development. Each has its own profile, service information and booking status.
