SERVICE SCOPE

Junk removal

Junk removal is for unwanted belongings: boxes of household clutter, loose items and old furnishings. The work is carrying approved items to the vehicle and hauling them away. A mixed pickup can cover several parts of a property when included in the estimate. Material acceptance and other property work need separate review.

START WITH THE TASK

What this service covers

  • Carrying and loading the household items identified in the agreed pickup.
  • Haul-away of accepted loose items, boxed clutter and ordinary household furnishings.
  • A defined removal area, including multiple rooms when they are part of the quote.

What needs review first

Tell the company before scheduling

  • Appliances, unusually heavy objects, construction debris and unknown container contents.
  • Stairs, long carries, restricted parking or items behind other belongings.
  • Any additional pile or room that was not shown in the original description.

Outside the standard scope

  • Hazardous-material handling, asbestos removal and contaminated-site cleanup.
  • Demolition, repairs, deep cleaning or transporting belongings to a new home.

How the work is agreed

  1. Define the pickup

Identify the items and materials to remove, including anything away from the main pile. The company reviews access and whether the requested materials can be accepted.

  2. Approve the complete scope

Walk through the pickup with the crew and review the final on-site price. Agree on what stays and what goes before loading starts.

  3. Load and haul away

The crew removes the agreed items. If the scope changes, ask for the revised work and price before adding to the pickup.

What can affect the price?

  • The space ordinary household items occupy in the load.
  • Material density, handling requirements and applicable disposal charges.
  • The carrying route, stairs and time needed to reach the vehicle.

Photos can support an initial range. The final on-site estimate covers the actual items and access; approve the complete price before loading. A changed removal list requires a revised agreement.

Questions about junk removal

Can a pickup include several different types of household junk?

Yes, a mixed household load can be reviewed as one job. Describe the complete load; a quote for one item does not automatically cover other piles or unusual materials.

Does haul-away mean everything will be donated?

No. Condition, material and receiving-site acceptance affect the destination. Ask the company about a particular item if donation or recycling matters to your decision; no outcome is guaranteed here.
