SERVICE SCOPE

Property cleanups

Property cleanup means hauling away loose unwanted items outdoors: discarded furnishings, scattered household junk and accepted debris in a yard, patio or side passage. The quote covers a defined exterior area. The work is debris removal; landscaping, changing the ground and correcting environmental conditions are separate services.

START WITH THE TASK

What this service covers

  • Collection, loading and haul-away of accepted loose junk in the agreed outdoor area.
  • Removal of approved discarded household items from patios, yards and side passages.
  • Several exterior piles when their locations and contents are included in the estimate.

What needs review first

Tell the company before scheduling

  • Mixed or unidentified debris, sharp materials, construction waste and unusually heavy objects.
  • Soft ground, slopes, narrow gates, long carries and vehicle access limits.
  • Anything partly buried, attached to a structure or entangled in vegetation.

Outside the standard scope

  • Landscaping, mowing, tree work, excavation, grading and demolition.
  • Soil remediation, contaminated waste, hazardous materials and biological cleanup.

How the work is agreed

  1. Describe the area and materials

Show every pile and identify what the debris contains. Note the access route and distinguish loose items from anything buried, attached or requiring specialist handling.

  2. Agree on the cleanup boundary

Review what can be accepted, where removal stops and the complete on-site quote. Confirm any limits before approving the job so the expected result is clear.

  3. Collect and haul away

The crew removes approved items from the agreed area. Material uncovered during the work needs review before it is added to the scope or loaded.

What can affect the price?

  • The quantity, density and material types in the accepted debris.
  • How widely items are scattered and the carrying distance to the vehicle.
  • Gate clearance, terrain and handling needs identified during review.

Photos can support an initial range. The final on-site estimate covers the actual items and access; approve the complete price before loading. A changed removal list requires a revised agreement.

Questions about property cleanups

Does property cleanup include pulling out posts or buried junk?

Those items need a separate assessment and are not included as loose-debris removal. Describe attachments and buried sections before arranging a visit; excavation or structural removal is outside this page's scope.

Can several outdoor piles be handled in one pickup?

They can be reviewed together when each pile and its contents are identified. Approval for a driveway pile does not automatically include debris behind a shed or elsewhere.
