Before the crew arrives

List everything you want removed.Include every room, storage area and outdoor pile that belongs in this pickup.
Separate what stays.Set aside personal papers, small belongings and items you are keeping. Mark larger keep items clearly.
Show the full job in photos.Use wide views of each pile plus details of large or unusual items. Mention anything hidden.
Explain the loading route.Share stairs, narrow passages, parking, gates and the floor where the items are located.
Arrange any building access.Check relevant elevator and loading arrangements with the property before relying on them for the visit.
Describe different materials.Identify heavy items, construction debris or containers with unclear contents. Ask the company about acceptance.
Choose a person for the walkthrough.Someone should know what goes and be able to review the estimate and approve the scope.
Update changes to the pickup.Tell the company about added items, changed access or timing changes before the appointment.
Be ready to review the price.The estimate is free and has no obligation. Confirm what is included and approve the price before removal starts.
